Farm Fusion is a homeschool enrichment program which integrates agriculture topics with academic lessons. A typical class day includes “Farm News”, an agriculture lesson, a story and art project that correlate with the lesson, activities and hands-on learning opportunities, and outdoor games as weather permits. These classes fill quickly, and registration will begin Feb 1st for current students and March 1st for new students.
Farm Fusion will no longer be in workshop format. The farm has so many spontaneous learning opportunities that I feel the workshop format is holding us back! Our extended (29 weeks) calendar will begin the week of 9/10 and end the week of 5/13. Breaks will correlate with Fayette County Schools. We will base next year’s classes loosely around the amazing books by veterinarian/author James Herriot.

Due to space issues, this is a drop-off style class. Students will need play clothes, shoes that can get dirty, a snack or lunch, and a water bottle. Due to the nature of the class, all students must be able to follow directions (age appropriately) and show respect for teachers and peers.
