We have two small herd of dairy goats at the farm, with two different breeds that could not be more different: Nigerian Dwarves & Lamanchas! Nigerian Dwarf Goats are the smallest of the dairy breeds. They are spunky and vocal, and make excellent pets and backyard milkers. Many people prefer the milk of Nigerian Dwarves due to its high butterfat content. Our goats come from lines with excellent udders, are ADGA registered, disbudded, and most are bottle raised. Lamanchas are a large dairy breed, with small “elf” ears. Our senior does give us 4 quarts per day, each, at their peak. Lamanchas are calm, laid back, and less vocal than Nigerian Dwarves.
